Interview with Henry Hager, Managing Director at Waterous Energy Fund

Henry Hager, Managing Director at Waterous Energy Fund, joins the Energy Council's Investor Insights series to share his thoughts surrounding the return of capital to the oil and gas market in 2023 following his participation in the opening Panel for the New York Energy Capital Assembly on Private Energy Fundraising.
As well as providing insights into Waterous Energy Fund's own value investment strategy, Henry also discusses the market dynamics that have made it successful in Canada. He then goes on to summarise the concept of peak investable oil.
“What's interesting today is that it does seem that investors are interested and attracted to investing in oil and gas, but Canada continues to trade at a discount.”
