Carlos de Maria y Campos Segura is partner of Galicia Abogados, S.C. since 1995. He is an attorney specialized in infrastructure projects with a particular emphasis in the energy sector. Mr. de Maria has represented contractors, developers, financial institutions, financing agencies and even state owned companies such as PEMEX and the CFE in the development and financing of projects under all kind of legal, contracting and financing schemes in different industries such as oil, gas, electricity and renewable energy.

In the oil and gas industry, Mr. de Maria has actively advised in the construction of oil platforms, gas pipelines, natural gas plants, oil refineries and injection projects for the production of oil.

Additionally, Mr. de Maria has a broad experience in the development and financing of infrastructure projects of other sectors such as highways and urban transport, water treatment plants and aqueducts, among others.
