Tim Chapman is the founder of Geopoint Advisory, an independent advisor to energy companies. His 25 year investment banking career was spent with large banks: the first decade at JP Morgan Chase, then CIBC World Markets and ultimately as head of international oil & gas at RBC Capital Markets. With strategic advice and valuation at the core, Tim has advised many companies on seminal transactions including M&A, capital raising and stakeholder communications. His expertise within the oil & gas sector includes E&P through to downstream and oilfield services.  Geopoint delivers this capability via discrete, trusted and incisive advice to an intimate client base.

Tim started his professional life as a geologist and studied Earth Sciences at Oxford University.
