Patti Melcher
Managing Partner & Co-Founder, EIV Capital
Patti Melcher is the Managing Partner and co-founder of EIV Capital, LLC, a private equity firm focused on the midstream sector of the energy industry. Ms. Melcher has over 30 years of experience in energy. She began her career as an investment banker with Simmons & Company, then joined SCF Partners, an oilfield service focused private equity fund. She subsequently formed Allegro Capital Management to provide investment management and consulting services in the energy industry.
In 2009 EIV Capital was formed to provide growth capital to companies in the energy industry. Ms. Melcher is responsible for managing the firm and its investment program. In addition to serving on the boards of EIV Capital portfolio companies, Ms. Melcher serves as a director and audit chair of Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. (NYSE: HOS). Ms. Melcher is also active in the non-profit community including a co-founder of The Joy School for children with learning disabilities. She received an MBA from Harvard University and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
