Based in London at the Head Office of the Department for International Trade, Enrique works in the Oil and Gas Sector Team supporting UK exporters in our High Value markets in the Americas and Africa. His team monitors upstream, midstream and downstream projects across both regions working closely with colleagues based at our Embassies and High Commissions to identify opportunities for the UK supply chain. Enrique has a close relationship with operators, EPCs, companies across the supply chain and works with UK Export Finance to help materialise high value export opportunities for UK exporters.

His countries of focus are Mexico, Brazil, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria, Mozambique, Uganda and Tanzania but he also covers secondary markets in both regions.

Before his current role Enrique worked at the British Embassy in Mexico City as Head of the Energy and Environment team covering the Oil and Gas, Renewables, Nuclear and Power Sectors. He studied Business Administration in Mexico and Norway.
