Lewis is Herbert Smith Freehills’, a top tier international law firm, Global Head of Energy and has almost 20 years' experience advising companies on their energy projects around the world. He has experience across the energy value chain (particularly upstream oil & gas, LNG, power and renewables) both in developed and emerging markets and is currently based in London. He has spent over 10 years in our Asian offices where he gained unique insights into the local energy market while managing global deals for our client base.

He is currently responsible for HSF’s Energy sector strategy together with the firm’s leadership and manages many of our global blue chip clients. Lewis is considered a trusted advisor on topics like the energy transition, decarbonisation and ESG in relation to the sector and supports many different players on their respective transitions. He has a strong track record of building long-lasting relationships with clients around the world while working on market leading deals.
