Huw Williams looks after Investor and Financial Stakeholder relations at BEIS and brings a depth of experience from his many years as a senior equity analyst, covering the oil & gas, energy, chemicals and resources sectors in Asia and Europe. He spent ten years in Hong Kong, mainly with Deutsche Bank, during which time he was closely involved with the IPOs of all the main Chinese oil & gas companies and worked for six years in Singapore, focused on companies operating in the gas sector across the region, with an emphasis on China, India and Indonesia. Prior to that, he worked in London, covering pan-European oil and gas companies and markets and global resources companies, at firms including Kleinwort Benson and Bear Stearns. Most recently he has been working in IR for a company developing unconventional gas in China and in an advisory role, focused on financing the energy transition.
Huw is joining the 2019 Awards of Excellence Judging Panel. The panel will be meeting on Friday 18 October to review, deliberate, discuss and shortlist the nominations received from our global network.
